About this Blanket
A golden pharaoh's funerary mask fills the center of this Ancient Egypt design, framed by a striped blue and gold nemes headdress with a rearing cobra (uraeus) at the brow, a braided ceremonial beard and a broad banded collar. Above the head spreads a winged sun disk; below it, a winged blue scarab carries another golden sun.
Two falcons stand at the upper corners, two cartouches hold a blue scarab beneath a sun disk, and tall blue lotus and papyrus flowers rise on both sides. A border of lotus panels, striped bands and triangle motifs frames the scene in gold, royal blue and turquoise on a deep black background, for a rich, regal, museum-inspired mood.
Perfect for:
- History lovers and fans of ancient civilizations
- Egyptology enthusiasts and museum goers
- Lovers of mythology and regal, gold-toned art
- A birthday or housewarming gift
- Teachers, travelers and anyone who has visited Egypt
