About Zaphiron

Zaphiron is a small independent brand founded by Konstantin Domoratski and based in Berlin, Germany

What Zaphiron Offers

Zaphiron is focused on creating meaningful woven blankets designed to be treasured for years.
The blankets are woven from 100% cotton and made to order in the USA. Each blanket begins with a design created with the idea that a blanket can be more than a decorative item — it can become a gift, a keepsake, a memory, or a personal piece of art.
Zaphiron's blanket collections include personalized blankets, anniversary and couple gifts, family keepsakes, fantasy artwork, gothic romance designs, medieval scenes, and animal art.
Whether you're celebrating a relationship, decorating your home, or searching for a gift that feels personal, Zaphiron aims to create blankets that people genuinely enjoy giving and receiving.

Why Woven Blankets?

Unlike printed products, woven blankets are created directly from thousands of colored cotton threads woven together into the fabric itself.
The artwork is not printed on the surface — it becomes part of the textile.
This weaving process creates a distinctive texture, rich detail, and a sense of craftsmanship that makes woven blankets feel more substantial and lasting than many typical print-on-demand products.
For us, that combination of artwork, functionality, and craftsmanship is what makes woven blankets so special.

The Story Behind Zaphiron

Hi, I'm Konstantin, the founder of Zaphiron.
I wanted to find a beautiful and meaningful name for my brand. While searching for a brand name, I came across several names that sounded similar to the name of the majestic dragon Sapphiron from Warcraft III, a computer game I played extensively in my youth.
For many years, however, I had remembered the name as Zaphiron rather than Sapphiron. When I discovered that the original spelling of the dragon's name was different, I was actually pleased. I had always preferred the name Zaphiron, and it feels like a better fit for my fantasy and gothic-inspired designs.
The logo features an original dragon created specifically for Zaphiron, but it is also a tribute to Sapphiron. I no longer remember exactly what Sapphiron looked like. What stays with me is the impression it made on me.
